“AI as a tool” course: eleven chapters, delivered on site
The brief

“Just use AI” is not an introduction. A team does not move forward because someone tells them how big the future will be. It moves forward when it can see where the tool bites, where it gets things wrong, and how a request has to be phrased for something usable to come back. So the course was never meant to be a talk about the future, but a session that changes how people work the next day.

Our role

STRUKTUR designed the course, built the presentation and delivered the session at Mindco. Ewald Hetz, CTO, ran it.

Content

Eleven chapters, built from vocabulary up to process. The concepts first, then the stance: AI as a tool rather than an oracle. Then a live demonstration in front of the room, because one attempt that visibly fails explains more than any slide. After that comes the anatomy of a good prompt, connecting your own tools through APIs and MCP, processes and automation, and the exercise of writing your own workflow down before automating it.

The second-to-last chapter belongs to the risks. A course that hides the limits of the tool produces people who trust it too far. It closes with a recap and questions.

What people take away

After the course a team knows what it uses the tool for and what it does not. A request comes with context, an example and a described outcome instead of being typed as a question into an empty field. And whatever comes back gets checked, because a model answers just as fluently when it is wrong.

The second half stays as a way of working: a process you cannot write down is a process you cannot automate. Writing your own steps out first shows which one a tool can take over and which one stays a decision. On top of that comes a realistic picture of the limits (invented facts, data protection, dependence on a single vendor), because you only use a tool properly once you know where it stops holding.

Result

The course was delivered on site at Mindco, eleven chapters in one session, and the material stays with the team. We did not collect attendance figures or feedback scores, so none are claimed here.
